First of all, many people had asked me why didn't I close it right away - why on the Earth would I keep it if it is going to die anyway? The answer is simple. First of all, I needed the website for University purposes. I have a project which is entirely based on the Cosy-Climbing website. However, even if it wasn't that first important for me reason, the second big reason is the fact that no one stops something just like that, just because... I am sure I had the right motives, however, it is not professional* to just do so.
To get to the main point. As stated on the previous post, which is hidden for normal users, "Cosy-Climbing does not want to help the KZ Scene anymore". However, important thing is that "does not want to help" does not equal to "wants to harm the KZ scene" and that was actually what was going to happen. Because people were going to stop jumping, mapping and various other activities connected to KZ and CC, just because I (and probably a few more hundreds, thousands) think that Xtreme-Jumps is doing bad in managing the KZ scene. However, although I am a pessimist, I really hope that SoUlFaThEr will be able to make the desired change and we will see an adequate administration leaving all the bad choices in the history.
Apparently people haven't understood something else for Cosy-Climbing as well. We are not in lack of money. We do not want donations, we do not claim that without your financial support we will die. The only money which we get and is not ours are the google ads which will be removed as soon as we reach the payment amount (may take several months). If someone wants to sponsor us with a game server that is totally fine by us, but the main website and main server will be a constant and we would never ask you for your money as this is Kreedz, where fun is more than money.
Shortened, currently Cosy-Climbing will stay as the "official community for NONkz maps" (which itself sounds ridicilous, because all those 2000+ maps ARE kz maps)
Soon I will probably have to move the website to another hosting company therefore there might be several days of having the website offline. I will inform for every downtime and progress as soon as we get there.
Last, but not least, happy birthday to our demo release admin - special. On the behalf of the administration and the users of the community wish him all the best! :)
* As saying it is not professional, I implying that Cosy-Climbing shouldn't be considered as professional [only]. We are an amateur team which is only trying to make the Kreedz scene a better place and as I have talked to lots of various people it seems that we have succeeded in that. We do make mistakes, but we ask for you opinion and together, we make it better. This is why our amateur team can be considered as doing a professional job.
